My name is Yinka Dixon.

Many people already know me.
I am one of the Local Election Candidates in Drogheda, south of River Boyne.
I am Representing the Green Party in the areas from the River on the McDonalds, Train Station, River Bank, Scotch Hall, Dublin Road etc side of Drogheda, Ireland.

I am asking that you come out and VOTE FOR ME, .

CAMfest Showcase History

CAMFEST International Gospel Artists Recognitions

In 2007, with God's help, and the support of friends, various churches, individuals and local businesses, I hosted a show which I had created since 2005. Under the voluntary group I formed, Network of International Christian Artists and Musicians, the show was called CAMfest and Showcase. We celebrated the experienced artists, and showcased talented upcoming ones.

We also presented Recognition Awards to experienced artists who had been previously nominated by groups and individuals. Tagged the Christian X-Factor, the show was the first in Ireland, and brought people from all nationalities together under one roof. See 2007 Details Here.

The 2008 CAMfest SHOWCASE promises to be much improved. We are building winners' circle of confident people all over the world.If you have something to say, sing it confidently

...Everyday marks the beginning of what could be a promising turn-around in anyone's life. I have found that life poses it's own set of challenges. You (and I) have no business trying to complicate our lives further by creating blockages and impediments for ourselves. Self imposed challenges are unnecessary and distractive, especially if they create no positive benefit. Consequently, giving other people the power to become impediments, or to create negative energy around you is illogical and can only result in self-, debasement, ruin and possible demolition.

We all can get better on a daily basis, if we consciously and progressively make the right choices. Faced with daily choices, including who we associate with, is the absolute begninning of sanity. They say "today is the beginning of the rest of your life". "They" can only be right, but only if you go contrary to popular opinion, and give yourself permission to live that life to the fullest, and against all the odds that life is bound to throw at you. Chances are, you are not the first to pass along that route; many have fallen, where others doggedly persist to the finishing line of success.

Remember this: "When a leader listens to malicious gossip, all the workers get infected with evil. (The Message Bible-Proverbs 29:12).

Just BE the best you possibly can.

I am the only candidate, selected by the community, nominated by the Louth Greens, and ratified by the Green Party, to represent the people of Drogheda on both sides...

The Irish people trust me and believe in my abilities to bring change for the people Drogheda! The parents and women in Drogheda approve of my ingenuity, talking about facilities for young people, Lack of bus facilities (Wheaton Hall, etc)! The business people in Drogheda speak freely to me about different issues, from Parking to Taxes.. The immigrants have absolute confidence that I can represent them on various issues... I am trusted to bridge the gap between migrants and citizens who wish to live in peace, as good neighbours.

I am guessing you are here because you would like to know a little more about me and what I am doing now...

OK, I am a Part time lecturer for the City Of Dublin VEC (Vocational Education Committee), registered to teach in all its 32 colleges, Prisons and Youth Reach Centres across Dublin. I teach the whole range of ECDL suite (and CLAIT in UK under the the syndicate of University of Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts - RSA, called OCR). In 2006, I started teaching and assessing in a government sponsored project to "upskill" the Hospital Executive (HSE) staff, through vocational assessments run by the SkillVec Project. Subjects I taught and assessed include Care Skills, Care Support, Admin and Stock Control, Communications Skills, in Inchicore College and St Kevin's College.

I left the Skillvec Project end of 2007 because the funding for the project was being cut, and subsequently became a Freelance consultant and trainer. With a belief that I could be doing slightly more to impact the lives of other people, I chose to become a Life and Business Coach and Motivational Speaker. I decided to qualify and attended a series of training and coaching sessions in Ireland and UK. I now run one-to-one and group sessions, workshops and seminars.

I volunteer to work mostly with individuals, families, parents, womens groups, Irish Wheelchair Association etc. In short, anyone and everyone who needs inner power to succeed... It's the energy from within, that helps people make it through the day... I am God fearing, and a hard-worker.

My mission is to help impact people to achieve their goals faster. I also lend support to women in business and those undergoing emotional challenges.
